# Setting up Metamask

## Install Metamask

Before you start using the Evolve protocol you need to install Metamask. If you don't have one yet, you can download and set up a [Metamask wallet](https://metamask.io/download).

## Add Cronos Chain to Your Metamask Wallet

After installing Metamask, setup Cronos chain on Metamask. In order to do so, please open your Metamask wallet:

1\. Hit the my account button in the top right corner, under **"Settings"**, select **"Networks"**

2\. In the **"Networks"** page, click "**Add Network**"

3\. Now put in the following in order to setup your Cronos wallet.

* 1\. **Network name**: Cronos
* 2\. **New RPC URL**: <https://evm-cronos.crypto.org>
* 3\. **ChainID**: 25
* 4\. **Symbol**: CRO
* 5\. **Block Explorer URL**: <https://cronos.crypto.org/explorer/>

4\. Press save, and your Cronos Wallet should now show up in the Network selection Tab.
